Am I able to get a six pack even if I do not eat much protein and calories each day, but if I do lots of cardio exercise along with ab work outs like sit-ups, pull-ups, etc.? I’m just wondering, because many people tell me that getting six pack abs is all about eliminating the fat between, on top, and around the ab muscles.

well i got a question so far this summer ive droped weight from 172 to 155 my goal is to weight from 138 to 140 so i got at least 15 more pounds to go. After i drop to my goal i wont want to focus on just going to the gym to run im gonna want to focus on trieng to get stronger arms and maybe a six pack. Is it nessesery to do ab workouts like sit ups or can i just do arm work outs cus i really dont like to do ab work outs i prefer just lifting weight. So my question is can you get a six pack from just lifting weights or do you have to do work outs that focus on abs.

I am a swimmer who NEEDS get abs to help lower my times. But I would also like abs for looks, too. I believe my abs are pretty strong, though. I did 77 sit-ups in 1 minute during the fitness test in school. I set the school record. However, you can not see any six pack abs or anything on my stomach. How do I get six pack ab the quickest way possible without stuff like protein drinks??

- Running on the treadmill for 30 minutes.
- 100 sit-ups a day
- Eating right
- 30 ab twists (Russian twists)
- Plank for 3 minutes a day
How far will this get me? Can I even get a six pack from this? If so, how long will it take?

I am 15, I am around 5,9" and I am tested at 11% body fat (which from what I here is very good) I have a good diet and I am starting to do some ab exercises ex: stomach crunches, rockies, etc. I also do 100 push ups a day and run 1 mile-2 miles a day, will I get results of a 6 pack or close in just 4 months?

I get in good cardio playing competitive basketball 5 days a week.
I do decline sit ups, sometimes with weight, and various other ab exercises.
I try to eat healthy, but wouldn’t say I’m perfect in this area.
I can see the top 4 abs better than I have been able to in years..
So how do i get of the lower belly fat??

I’m 15, almost 6ft, and weigh 75kg. I’m not fat or thin, but i’d like to lose some fat around the ab area. I hear press ups and sit ups are good to get abs, but they aren’t good to lose fat? I’m not a fat person, so if i do ab excercises, they should just come, or wouldn’t they? Thanks!

my question is if everyone can get an 8 pack who workss for it. im talking about either being built or skinny. not talking about any one with a belly over a quarter inch. ive heard that some people dont have the muscle popping out enough for an 8 pack to show.
MY body: were my abs are, my six pack is showing ( ive only been doing sit ups and other abdominal workouts for 6 weeks) and were the extra 2 blocks at the bottom are, i can feel them, but they dont feel like they broke away from from the bottom six part ( like this)
very top 2 > _|_
middle > __|__
bottom of six pack > –|—-
where 8 pack would kinda starts
sorry for the bad picture.but basically where my last six pack ab ends, a very fiant line i can feel starts but i dont know if it will get more detialed.
i dont know how to fix the picture. i put a lot of spaces so it would be lined up and the yahoo ask thing deleted them.

Im 18 years old and my weight just under 8stone. I’m trying to get a six pack, have been doing ab work such as sit-ups and leg raises. I understand that everyone has a 6pack but there is just a layer of fat covering it that we must get rid of. I find it hard to eat the right meals (being a young person i just want to eat junk all the time!) but do eat veg, salads etc. What can i do to help me even further? I train in tae kwon-do 5-6 days a week and walk for two hours once a week so get enough exercise.
What can i do to help get my six pack?! (It’s starting to show slowly but surely)
I find it hard to get a lot of protein too. I dont eat fish, most forms of egg (like scrambled egg but thats it!) and the only decent thing i have containing protein is meat. I also have protein shakes 30 mins before i work out

As a 83kg and 176cm tall 16 year old male, i am tryin to achieve six packs. I hope by next year i can have six packs. Well I’ll say that I have great look, but too bad my body is not. The bad part is that i have no exercise equipments in my house! So i rely on crunches alone. Will crunches alone works to get six pack?
I have the motivation to start working out but whenever I try doing crunches, i have this strong discomfort on my neck. I am doing crunches like about 3 to 4 times and my neck will start to ache already. I did not apply great pressure to my neck, but somehow the ache is there.
What is the correct and safe way of doing crunches to prevent neck aches and injuries?
yo! if u guys have any other great ab workouts besides crunches alone, please give your suggestions. Because I have a strong feeling that it will take decades for me to achieve six pack if i only rely on crunches alone. lol
hey. i just come across a news on doing sit ups. Apparently, it seemed that a guy same age as me doing 1000 sit ups a day and still get nothing. Can someone explain what is the reason behind this?

what is the fastest way to get abs ive been running, lifting whights, ab crunches, and pull up and sit ups but its not working any advice?

I hear so much conflicting advice. Some say you don’t need to do that many reps, just the right ones. Other people say millions of sit ups every day. Some say machines, some try to sell you those crappy ab rollers and other gimmicks from late night tv. I am very skinny (male) and run and lift frequently. I have very little fat on my stomach, if any, but 6 months+ of lots of situps seem to have been doing nothing. Sorry about the rambling, i’m just very frustrated here. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Hi All,
I am a severely obese man and eat approx 5,000 calories per day (mainly pizza’s and takeaways but I do have the odd chocolate bar I must admit to). I play Wii Tennis for 10 minutes a day and also do at least 3 sit-ups each morning when I wake up (I read it was best to do exercise first thing).
How many sets of tennis will I have to play before my ab’s are visible?
